Brian Kelly is a composer, pianist, and producer creating instrumental music in a variety of genres, including Contemporary Instrumental, Contemporary Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Smooth Jazz, Neo-Classical, and New Age. . He has released 2 critically-acclaimed contemporary piano instrumental CDs, Pools of Light (2005) and Afterplay (2008). ''Pools of Light'' (2005), his debut album, charted #1 for two months on modern instrumental radio. “Afterplay” (2008) heads into upbeat contemporary jazz territory while displaying his gifts for strong melodies, fluid chops, and richly detailed arrangements. The album includes the world-renowned talents of Eric Crystal on sax, David Rokeach on drums, Viviana Guzman on flute, and James Robinson on guitar. Brian Kelly is winner of the Keyboard Magazine Soundpage Award for his original composition “Todd Pond”.
