Artist Biography

A fresh new band hailing from the East Coast, Call 2 Consciousness is a four-piece musical hurricane that grabs on and never lets go. Originally the collaboration of singer/guitarist Darrell Porter and drummer Rich Bones, Call 2 Consciousness began writing and recording songs in a makeshift studio in their college dorm. “We used to borrow our roommate’s equipment and go downstairs and record in a study lounge.” With the addition of bassist Jon Sykes and guitarist Dan "DudeMan" Cuadras, the band has become a melting pot of different musical influences. Since the band's first show, Call 2 Consciousness has shared the stage with many bands, including Cartel, Sugarcult, and Rookie of the Year. With an intense live show that only compliments the music they play, Call 2 Consciousness promises to be a major force in today's music scene!
