Artist Biography

Music has always been a huge part of Tearz aka Jagged Diamond's life. Tearz has always had a part of her heart for music. Whenever things wasn't goin' right, she'd throw on some head phones or crank up the stereo. Then everythin' would seem ok, she'd be in another world. Then late 2003 she figured she'd pick up a pen & pad. Next thing Tearz knew she was makin' tracks, havin' people come up to her sayin' "Your music is tight". Tearz has always been about writin' what she see's, what she's been through, what she does, & her outlook on life. She doesn't mind the haters because their nothin' to her. Tearz is goin' to keep doin' what she does no matter who likes it & who doesn't. She doesn't care who steps in her way because she's still goin' to make it to that 1 spot. In late, 2006/ early 2007 she got signed with record label "Revelationz Records". Things seem okay until May 2007, her CEO seemed like he was blowin' her off & not wantin' to work with her on her mixtape "Tha Unappreciated". Tearz quickly left "Revelationz Records" because she didn't have no time for games. She then met up with CEO Mafia Child of Mafia Muzik Inc. on myspace. Tearz had told him about what happen with her previous record label. Mafia Child then asked Tearz if she wanted to sign with Mafia Muzik Inc. Which she did. Tearz then forgot about droppin' the mixtape "Tha Unappreciated". She is now workin on a new album called "Jagged Diamond" that will be droppin' in Fall of 2007. Now that Tearz has signed with a new label she's comin' to the table with a whole new attitude. She says on her upcomin' album "Jagged Diamond" the songs aren't goin' to sound like anythin' she's ever recorded before. "There's no limit to the things people will be seeing me do. It's my time to shine and get my music out there. Let people hear what I have to say and still stay on my grind. Doing what I love to do." says Tearz.
